Bruce Daniels, 68, lifelong resident of Somers, entered into Eternal Peace on Thursday, January 7, 2021, at St. Francis Hospital. Bruce was born on April 19, 1952, in Stafford Springs, the loving son to the late Earl and Vera (Newson) Daniels. He proudly served our country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War, stationed in Germany throughout his time in the service. Bruce was an avid fisherman and enjoyed racing RC Cars in Stafford Springs. Bruce is survived by his brother Dennis Daniels, and his wife Maryanne Schwartz Daniels of Hampden, MA; a niece and nephew, Shelley Gonzalez and Seth Daniels; and a great niece and nephew, Anisa Gonzalez and Michael Daniel Dowling. Due to the current public health crisis, services and burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
