Carlo A. Carlone, 77, of Enfield, beloved husband of Diane (Franco) Carlone, the love of his life for 59 years, entered into eternal peace Friday, Dec. 25, 2020 at Baystate Medical Center. The son of the late Antonio and Emilia (Sarno) Carlone, Carlo was born in Springfield, MA and was raised in Enfield where he resided all of his life. He had worked at Hamilton Standard for 30 years before working at the CT Dept. of Corrections from where he retired. Carlo was an avid NY Yankees and NY Giants fan who also enjoyed fishing and cooking. His love for his family, especially his precious grandchildren, was immeasurable, and spending time with them meant so much to him.
Besides his wife Diane, Carlo is survived by two daughters Diana Culver and her husband Kenneth of Enfield, Deborah Jenkins and her husband Richard of Wales, MA, two grandchildren Taylor Lynn and Nicholas James Culver, an Uncle Frank Sarno of Enfield, aunts Louisa Romano and Ida Angelica of Enfield, a special niece Carolyn Arabolos and her husband Greg, a sister-in-law Marilyn McCloud of West Hartford and several cousins. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by several aunts.
Visitation hours will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Tues. December 29, 2020 at Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Road Enfield. Family and friends will gather at 9:00 a.m. Wed., Dec. 30th at Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels for a procession to St. Bernard Church in Enfield for a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial. Committal will follow at St. Patrick's King Street Cemetery. Social Distancing and masks are required for all visitors at the funeral home and church.
