Carolyn Faye (Springer) Jerome, 90, of Enfield, entered into eternal rest on Friday, January 15, 2021 with her family by her side. She was predeceased by her loving husband Albert (2018) who she was married to for 68 years. Carolyn was born in Island Falls, ME on January 11, 1931, the loving daughter to the late Leo and Mildred (Berry) Springer.
After many years of employment at Olympic Sales in Enfield, Carolyn spent her free time volunteering in the community, helping at the local blood drives and well child clinics at the church. When not volunteering, she spent her time camping and traveling with her husband. Carolyn loved doing things for her family; she spent many hours sewing for her children and grandchildren, who were such a special part of her life. Carolyn will always be remembered for her kind, generous spirit and beautiful smile.
Carolyn is survived by three children, Cathy McCary of Killeen, TX, Stephen Jerome of Norfolk, VA, and Alan Jerome and his wife Angela of Enfield; nine grandchildren, Brian, Elizabeth, Kimberly, Colby, Corine, Joshua, Christy, David, and Katrina; and many great and great-great grandchildren.
Carolyn’s family will receive relatives and friends from 10 - 11 am on Friday, January 22, 2021 at Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Rd, Enfield. A funeral service will be celebrated at 11 am at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Hazardville Cemetery. Donations in Carolyn’s memory may be made to the National Alzheimers Association, 225 N.
