Cheryl J. Wadsworth, 75, known to many as “Shari”, passed away on Wednesday, March 15th, 2023. Shari is survived by her children Tammy Danforth of Windsor locks, Daniel Wadsworth and his Wife Cheryl of Broad Brook; her daughter-in-law, Michelle Wadsworth; her grandchildren, Melinda Wadsworth, Gary Danforth, Matthew Wadsworth, Cherie Danforth, Michael Wadsworth, Jace Wadsworth, Timothy Wadsworth, Nicholas Wadsworth and Kaitlyn Wadsworth; her great grandchildren, Chereyah Barnes, Colton Wadsworth, and Jaxon Wadsworth; her siblings, Judy Livesey of Pittsfield, VT, Michael Burrows and his wife Maria of Enfield, CT, Alana Parsons of Windsor Locks, CT, Kimberly Salvatore and her husband Fred of Sun Lakes, AZ, Debra Freeland and her husband Joe of Pace, FL. Shari was predeceased by her ex-husband, Daniel Wadsworth, her sons, Timothy Wadsworth and David Wadsworth; her brother Barry Burrows and wife Carol; and her brothers-in-law, John Parsons and James Livesey. Shari was well known by most for her restaurant, The Donut Kettle. Anyone who knew Shari knew her love for music and dancing, especially 50’s and 60’s. She loved the beach, just sitting by the water with her feet in the sand, enjoying a book, soaking up the sun. Shari would light up a room the moment that she walked in with her beautiful smile and contagious laugh. She was truly the life of the party. She was a very strong willed and determined person and had a tremendously big heart and wouldn’t hesitate to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it. Her family was first and foremost the most important thing to her. Although she had medical issues for the last years of her life, she didn’t let that slow her down. She kept a smile on her face through the worst and best times. She touched so many people’s lives and will be truly missed.
Her family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 21, from 4-7 PM at Windsor Locks Funeral Home, 441 Spring St. Windsor Locks, with a Prayer Service taking place at 7 PM. Burial will be private. For online condolences, please visit www.windsorlocksfuneralhome.com.
