Chester M. Ciolkos, 88, of East Longmeadow and Enfield, CT, passed away on Saturday, November 26, 2022 at The Reserve in East Longmeadow. Born in Indian Orchard, MA on June 18, 1934, he was the son of the late Albert and Adela (Mojeko) Ciolkos and grew up in Indian Orchard, graduating from Springfield Technical High School in 1952. He went on to serve in the US Marine Corps from 1954-1957 and furthered his education by receiving his Bachelor’s Degree from American International College in 1961. Chester had a long career as an Accountant with the Federal Government, retiring in 1989. He moved to Enfield in 1964 and lived there until moving to East Longmeadow 4 years ago. Chester married Barbara Gallan in 1963 and they enjoyed 30 years of marriage until her passing in 1993. A loving husband, devoted father, grandfather, and friend, he will be missed by his family and friends. He leaves 3 children, Karen Dupre and her husband Kevin of Phoenix, AZ, David Ciolkos and his wife Diane Kieras-Ciolkos of Hadley, MA, and Kathy Lovering and her husband Chris of Enfield; and 6 grandchildren, Kelli, Kyle, Kiera, Christian, Erica, and Sean. His family will receive friends on Saturday, January 7, 2023 from 9-10 AM at Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Rd., Enfield, with a Service taking place at 10 AM.
