Christine Dumala, 92, formerly of Enfield,Ct. widow of Wallace Dumala (1979), passed away peacefully at home in Somers, Monday, Aug. 22,2022. Born and raised in Holyoke,MA, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Julia (Murawska) Trusiewicz. She was formerly employed at Aetna for 20 years before operating Suffield Oxygen Sales Inc., which she owned for 45 years before retiring. Christine enjoyed doing puzzles and sewing in her free time. She also enjoyed taking trips to the casinos in hopes of winning the big jackpot.

She was predeceased by her two sons, Daryl and Daniel Dumala; and her daughter, Diane Dumala. Christine is survived by her daughter Donna Barsanti and her husband Jay of Enfield,daughter in law, Cindy Graham of Somers. She leaves behind 12 grandchildren, Angelisa Sarnowski and her husband Alex of Washington, DC, Philip Dumala and his wife, Kim of Maine, Cristy Williams and her husband, Sammie of Somers and Carey Messenger and her fiancée, Tricia of Wallingford. In addition, Christine also leaves behind great grandchildren, Alice, Evan,
Kyle, Jaycen, Ava and Meikah. Christine was also very loved by Lynda Haslem, of Somers who took very good care of her.

Visitation hours will be held from 4-6 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 30, 2022 at Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Rd., Enfield. A graveside service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday Aug. 31, 2022 at Holy Cross Cemetery (behind Holy Cross National Polish Catholic Church) in Enfield.
