Obituary for Christopher Panatsas

Christopher Panatsas, 23, of Enfield, died unexpectedly Wednesday, April 7, 2021. Born in Hartford Dec. 7, 1997, he was the son of Anthi (Siafakas) and Panteleimon Panatsas. Christopher was a member of the last graduating class of Fermi High School, Class of 2016, and later graduated from Porter & Chester in Enfield. He was employed with Stafford Mechanical for the past three years and was a hard worker who enjoyed his job. Christopher was always willing to help anyone and radiated enormous amounts of charisma, which lent to his many friendships made through the years. He enjoyed boating with his family, dirt biking, snowboarding, hiking, and fishing. He was a true lover of the outdoors. He will be missed by his family and many friends. Besides his parents, he is survived by a brother, Nicholas Panatsas of East Granby, a sister, Areti Panatsas of Enfield, maternal grandparents, Hristos and Areti Siafakas, his Uncle Nick Siafakas and his wife Angela of East Haddam, CT, as well as many extended family in NY, MI, Greece, Canada, and many friends and co-workers.
Christopher joined his beloved godmother, Maria Karolidis, on April 7th. She was a role model in his life, has always been his shadow, and has had unconditional love for her. In their memory please donate to the American Diabetes Association, PO Box 15829, Arlington, VA 22215.
Visitation hours will be held from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday, April 13th at Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Rd., Enfield. The funeral Service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, April14, 2021 at St. George Greek Orthodox Cathedral (Please meet at Church), 22 St. George Rd., Springfield, MA.
