Daniel J. "Sparky" Sullivan, 63, of Enfield, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, Sept. 21, 2022 at St. Francis Hospital. A lifelong resident of Enfield, Daniel began his passion for anything involving automotive repair and auto body at a very young age. He worked as an auto body technician at various garages for many years. In his youth, Daniel was a gifted all-star athlete excelling in soccer, basketball, track, and baseball. He was very active with the Loyal Order of Moose in Enfield and dedicated his time to volunteering for their cause. His mantra was tried and true, "I worked hard, I played hard, and now I'm Free."
He is survived by his mother Carol (Richards) Sullivan, three sisters, Maureen LaFrancis and her husband John of Enfield, Colleen Douglas of Springfield, MA, Kathleen Urban and her husband Andrew of Canton, and nine nieces and nephews. His family wishes to thank Gary Raffia for the endless support he provided to Daniel. He was predeceased by his father, Daniel Sullivan, and a brother-in-law, Mark Douglas.
Family and friends will gather for calling hours from 3:00 p.m. - 5:45 p.m. Monday, Sept. 26, 2022 at Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Rd., Enfield. A Moose service will be held at 5:45 p.m. following calling hours to honor Daniel. Burial will be private.
