I knew Dory for only a couple of years. Very worry I had not gotten to know her earlier. She was a lovely person. She never complained or criticized and was a joy to be with. I will miss our weekly Monday night bridge games over which we shared many laughs with friends Ginny and Nadine. Miss you Dory. Fran

Dory has been one of my best neighbors and friend for 60 years. She had a zest for living and was a great mom to Sir Winston, Toby, and Cody. Training them and enjoying the outdoors with them daily. She will be truly missed in the Patsun Rd community. Love you Dory. Alicia Riley

I got to know Dory through Posy 101 Somers CT, by her always stepping up to help as an auxillary member. At our 4 town fair booth, Post 101Christmas parties and picnic meetings. She was always smiling and happy to lend a hand. I'm glad I got to see her one more time before she reunited with her Earl. Paul JVC Post 101

Dori will be greatly missed at the Somers Senior Center. I truly enjoyed our musical connection. I can still see her singing and marching along with my Dixieland Band! I went with her on several trips to Goodspeed as well as other trips and we had so much fun! She was fun-loving and loved so much by all! She was not afraid to participate in any crazy ideas we had and always took beautiful pictures of our trips! I loved her stories about how she met her husband, her expert shooting and her school band days! She was the bright light to so many and a wonderful, caring and beautiful person. My heart is saddened by her loss and I will think of her often and remember all the great memories we shared. Sending my condolences, hugs & prayers to her family.

My thoughts are with your family and Dorie's friends at this time. Dorie was a bright spot at the Somers Senior Center. She had a smile for everyone. We spent many Wednesday's playing cards together and having laughs over them. I will miss her. I am so sorry that I was unable to see her because of Covid. She will be sorely missed by many.
