I send my deepest sympathy to Tim & Gail, also to Ben & Dave on the passing of Aunt Dot. She was a sweet and loving lady. She had a wonderful memory and loved to reminisce about the past. I have fond memories of visits with her & Uncle David in Melrose when Cindy & I were back east. She loved antiques, she was an accomplished artist who did beautiful paintings of the old Pease farm. She loved to play her piano and wrote several songs and poems. Once she moved to Orange we became great phone pals. She called me almost every day and I looked forward to our visits. We talked about everything, she had an amazing memory, she loved the early days of living on the farm, she had so many wonderful stories. I already miss her phone calls. Tim, thank you for sharing your Mom with me. You all are in my thoughts and prayers. She will be greatly missed.

I think of Dorothy every spring, summer and fall, as each season brings new perennials in the gardens she so lovingly sowed during her many years in Melrose. Although I was never able to meet her in person, she has a place in my heart and her memory will live on as long as I am fortunate enough to live in the home she shared with her family. May she find much joy and peace in her heavenly home.
