On Tuesday, April 26th, 2022, Gail J. (Buckley) Warnock passed away at the age of 68. Gail was born in Albany, NY to the late William Buckley and Norma (Elliot) Townley in December 1953. After moving to Enfield, she attended Enrico Fermi High school and was a member of its first graduating class of 1972. Gail’s love for children and education led her to continue her studies at the University of Hartford. In 1975, Gail married Frederick Warnock Jr. of Enfield and went on to have four children. Gail’s love of gardening, her faith, teaching, and her strength as a mother and caring of others will be missed in the many lives that she has touched. Gail was the Director of Education for Our Redeemer Preschool of the Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer in Enfield and retired from the Town of Enfield Child Development Center. Gail went to her Heavenly home and was reunited with her father, her sisters Toni Ann and Kim Buckley, and her brother Henry Townley. She leaves her husband, her children Marc and wife Claire Warnock of Springfield, MA, Josh, Kylee, and Mariah Warnock of Enfield, CT. Her family will be spreading her ashes in a private ceremony. A celebration of life is being planned for a later date.
