Obituary for Gary D Morgan
Gary Dumont Morgan, 89, of Enfield, husband of Louise (Flanders) Morgan for 66 years, passed away on Thursday, January 21, 2021 at Touchpoints at Chestnut. Born on April 18, 1931 in Glens Falls, NY, he was the son of the late Dumont and Viola (Cheney) Morgan.
He grew up in Middlebury, VT and moved with his wife and 3 month old daughter to Enfield in 1961. Gary worked as a mechanic for Kaman Aircraft and Terry Steam Turbine for many years before retiring.
Gary loved his family and his garden, doing yardwork and chopping and splitting wood. The neighbors always enjoyed the vegetables he left for them on their steps.
In addition to his wife Louise of Enfield, he leaves behind his daughter Lisa and husband Mike of Millersville, MD; daughter Linda and husband Jim of Enfield; sister and brother-in-law Joanne and Jack Harvey of Enfield; sister-in-law Yvonne Morgan of Middlebury, VT; he was predeceased by his brother Ray Morgan of Middlebury, VT. He also leaves behind his many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
