Obituary for Gerald Decelles Jr.
Gerald L. Decelles, Jr, 73, of Enfield, beloved husband of the late Janet (Stevens) Decelles, entered into Eternal Rest at home on Monday, February 15, 2021. Son of the late Gilberta (Palshaw) Decelles and Gerald Decelles, Sr., he was born in Manchester on July 24, 1947. Gerald proudly served his country in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam war. Prior to his retirement, he was employed as an insurance salesman for AFLAC. In his free time Gerald enjoyed fishing and was a member of the Rockville Fish and Game Club. He was also a talented woodcarver.
Gerald is survived by his children, Renee Decelles and her husband Brian Moson of Enfield, and Gerald Decelles, III of Norway; his stepson Chris Hahesy and his wife Allison of CA; his grandchildren, Jake and Zachary Richters, and Tyler and Cody Hahesy; and his brother Arthur Decelles and his wife Kathy of Wolcott.
