Gerald (Jerry) B. Reed, 50, of Enfield, passed away on Saturday, March 27, 2021. Born in Springfield, MA on February 28, 1971, he was the son of Gerald Reed and the late Nancy (McCann) Reed and grew up in Somers before moving to Enfield. Jerry worked for USA Hauling for many years as a driver and later a dispatcher. His favorite pastime included riding his Harley Davidson any chance he got. He was a fan of the Dallas Cowboys and New York Yankees. Jerry will be missed by so many, including his father, Gerald Reed of Broad Brook; his 2 daughters, Jessica and Ashley Reed, his sister-in-law, Alyssa, and nephews Ryan, Silas, and Levi. He was predeceased by his mother, Nancy Reed in 2019 and his brother, David Reed in 2015. His family will receive friends on Friday, April 2, from 4-7 PM at Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Rd., Enfield. A service will take place at 5:30 PM. Burial will be private.
