Gunter Geiss, 80, of Enfield, beloved husband of Nga Thi Geiss, entered Eternal Rest on Saturday, February 13, 2021 at Saint Francis Hospital. He was born on April 19, 1940, in Frankfurt Germany, son of the late Walter and Lisa (Stemmler) Geiss. Gunter always wanted a big family, and when he married the love of his life, he got his wish. The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to him. He loved a quiet evening with family and a cold beer in hand. His strength and his wisdom helped support and protect his family. In addition to his wife Nga, Gunter is survived by his step-children; Anh Pham and his wife Ariana of Windsor Locks CT, Tuan Pham and his wife Lena of East Hartford CT, Ngoc Pham of Enfield CT, Trang Pham of Windsor Locks CT, Hang Dao of Manchester CT, Huyen Dao of Enfield CT, his sister Ursula Wardakas and husband George and their son of Bad-Soden Germany, his brother-in-law Chuc Pham, his sister-in-law Ngoc Pham and husband Phep and their children Anhtho, Quyen, Hoan, Aily, Nguyen and Anh as well as a host of 13 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. He is predeceased by his grandson, Shaquille Napper. Gunter’s family will receive relatives and friends from 5:30 to 7:30 pm on Thursday, February 18 th , 2021 at Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Road, Enfield CT.
