Jean Elaine Monfette, 77, of Enfield, widow of Roger Monfette (2013), passed away Monday, May 17, 2021 at Vernon Manor. Born in Burlington, VT, Oct. 7, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Sherwood and Atlantis (Thurber) Poor. She lived in Enfield since 1976 and was previously employed by Olympic Sales and later Johnson Memorial Hospital from where she retired after 35 years. Jean enjoyed reading, doing puzzles, and crocheting in her free time.
She will be missed by her family including her two sons, Roger Monfette Jr. of Enfield, Daniel (Stacey) Monfette of Vernon, two step children, Patrice (Gary) Dennis of Arkansas, Kathy Preuss of Westfield, MA, a sister, Janet Ouellette and her husband Robert of Burlington, CT, nine grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren. Besides her husband Roger, she was predeceased by a son James Monfette, two brothers, David and Brian Poor, and a step-daughter Mary Hayes. Services and burial are private.
