Jeffrey Poisson, 68, of Chester, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, January 30, 2023 at Apple Rehab Chesterfields. He was born in Stafford on October 22, 1954, the son of the late Joseph Poisson and Jacqueline (Chaine) Poisson. Jeffrey was a long time resident of Brian House group home in Chester where he enjoyed working with his buddies on the wood crew and spending time in the garden. He was also a big fan of Corvettes. Jeffrey will be remembered for his perseverance and positive, joyous outlook on life throughout the many obstacles he encountered. His family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Brian House for their compassionate care of Jeffrey over the years.

Jeffrey is survived by his sisters, Jeannette Maloney and her husband Mark Packard of Ellington and Joyce Poisson-Daniels of Windsor; his brother Jon Poisson, Sr. and his wife Marilyn of MA; his nephews, Brian Leduc and his wife Gredel and their son Evan; Jon Poisson, Jr. and his wife Marguerite and Christopher Poisson, his niece Melanie Poisson and many cousins and close friends. He was predeceased by his brother, James Poisson.
