Obituary for Jonathan E. Hamborg

Jonathan Hamborg, 39, lifelong resident of Enfield, passed away unexpectedly at home on Thursday, April 1, 2021. He was born in Hartford on October 21, 1981, the loving son to Joyce (Tine) Tarbox and Robert Hamborg. Jonathan had his CDL and drove tractor trailers regionally. He loved being outdoors whether it be fishing, hiking or enjoying a camping trip. Spending time with his sons playing paintball was one of his favorite pastimes. Jonathan is survived by his mother and step father, Joyce and Walter Tarbox of Enfield; his wife, Leah Arnesen-Hamborg; his five children, Trent, Damien, Angel, Nichole, and Jonathan, Jr.; three brothers, James Gallo III, Anthony Gallo, and Michael Gallo, Jr.; a sister, April Moser and her husband, Brandon; and his grandmother, Rebecca Cimino. He also leaves his uncle, Joseph Tine and his wife, Karen; aunt, Jean Dolan and her husband, Phil; cousins, Jennifer Tine, Tony Ward, Nichole Dolan; nieces and nephews, Jacquelyne, Li-Asia, Lily, Douglas, and Joseph; and a special friend, Lauren Marie. Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for calling hours on Sunday, April 11, 2021 from 11-1 pm at Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Rd., Enfield, CT 06082. A service will be held at the funeral home at 1 pm. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
