Judith A. Porcello, 74, of Enfield, beloved wife of John E Porcello, Sr. for 53 years, devoted mother to three sons, two daughters, and a caring grandmother to fourteen adoring grandchildren and one great grandchild, entered into Eternal Rest on Sunday, January 24, 2021 at Hartford Hospital. Daughter of the late Betty (Campbell) O’Brien and Thomas O’Brien, Sr., she was born in Hartford on September 22, 1946.
Raised in Enfield, Judy lived in the community most of her life. Her first and foremost obligation was caring for and raising her family. Her family meant everything to her, and she indulged in having holiday family gatherings and special occasions at her home. She was selfless in almost everything she did, always placing family and friends first. She also enjoyed reading and caring for the beautiful flower beds she planted around her yard.

Above all else, Judy’s greatest love was her family. In addition to her loving husband of over 53 years, John Sr, Judy is survived by her sons, John Jr of Enfield, Jeffery and his wife Cathy of Enfield, Jameson and his wife Jessica of Enfield, Jennifer Kilgore and her husband Larry of Ellington, and Julie Cosker and her husband Joseph Sr of Somers. Judy is also survived by her grandchildren, Sean, John III, Tyler Joseph, Haley Ann, Tyler Thomas, Jessica Nicole, Emily Grace, Jenna Lynn, Joey Jr, Cole, Mia Rose, Andrew John, Isabella Marie, and Ella Grace; her great grandchild Lilah Rose, her sister Kathleen Wright and her husband John of VT; her brother, Stephen O’Brien and his wife Margaret of Guilford, her sister-in-law Carol O'Brien of Enfield and many nieces, nephews, and extended family. She was predeceased by a brother, Thomas O’Brien, Jr. The family would also like to give a special thank you to the staff at Hartford Hospital who gave wonderful care to Judy over the past few weeks.

Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. Thursday Jan. 28, 2021 at Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Rd., Enfield.
