Katherine M. "Kay" Midyette, 84, longtime resident of Enfield, entered into the arms of The Lord on Saturday, June 4, 2022 at the Suffield House. She was born on October 17, 1937, in New London, the loving daughter to the late Hugh and Kate (Newman) Pendleton. The second youngest of twelve children, Kay grew up in Waterford and attended local schools. While her children were young, she volunteered in the school library, spent most of her free time bowling with multiple leagues at Thompsonville and Bradley Bowl, enjoyed playing Bingo with her girlfriends and traveling with her husband. She eventually became a member of the Literacy Volunteers and an active member of the Enfield Senior Center. With her big heart and fun spirit she gathered many friends throughout her lifetime, including those she resided with at Mark Twain Apartments and the Suffield House. Above all else, Kay enjoyed the time spent with her beloved family.
