Obituary for Lawrence LaValley
Lawrence J. LaValley, 77, of Windsor Locks, CT entered into Eternal Rest at his home on Saturday, March 28, 2020. Son of Irene (Gokey) LaValley and the late Noah LaValley, he was born in Mooers, NY on March 14, 1943. Larry worked for General Plasma, Inc. until his retirement in 2006. In his spare time, he enjoyed camping, travel, horses, and bowling.
In addition to his mother, Irene of Plattsburg, NY, Larry is survived by his beloved former wife and devoted friend, Barbara LaValley, his daughters, Tammy Christopher and her husband Gary of Windsor Locks, and Robin Castagno and her husband Vincent of Enfield; his grandchildren, Kyle R. Schwarz, Ryan G. Schwarz, Tyler L. Schwarz, and Olivia Castagno; his siblings, Norman “Tun” LaValley, Noel LaValley, and Linda Garrand; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his father, he was predeceased by his brother Gabriel “Buck” LaValley, and his sisters Audrey Rabideau and Joyce Rabideau.
