Lilianna “Lillian” Krystyna Soltys, of East Windsor, died at her home on Sunday, December 13, 2020 at the age of 64. Lillian was the mother of Leszek (40) and Peter (35). Wife of Tadeusz (70) over twenty years and daughter of Janina (88). She also leaves behind her brother Andre and his four kids, Gabi, Max, Kyle, Dana, and their families.
Lilianna was born in Poland on September 28, 1956 where she became a math teacher. She came to America in the mid 1980’s with her two sons and worked at the Felician Sisters and Hallmark Cards in Enfield. She later was head of kitchen at the Suffield House. In 2008, she purchased Belvedere Polish Deli in East Windsor and owned it for twelve years until her passing.
She will be remembered by the Polish community and her family as the sweetest person, caregiver, and of course, for her passion, cooking.
Her family will receive friends on Friday, December 18, from 8-10 AM at Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Rd. Enfield. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10:30 AM at St. Adalbert’s Church, with burial to follow in St. Adalbert’s Cemetery, all in Enfield. MASKS AND SOCIAL DISTANCING ARE REQUIRED AT THE FUNERAL HOME AND CHURCH.
