Obituary for Lilias Bourque (LaBreche)

Lilias (LaBreche) Bourque, 78, of Windsor Locks, formerly of Enfield, entered into Eternal Rest at her home on Saturday, January 2, 2021. She was born in Hartford on April 25, 1942, daughter of the late Norbert and Eva LaBreche. Lilias was employed as a service representative for Konica Business Solutions until retirement and then enjoyed working at the East Windsor Walmart until her passing. She resided in Enfield for over 46 years, and later moved to Windsor Locks. In her leisure time Lilias enjoyed working outdoors in her garden. She was an animal lover and opened her home to many pets throughout her lifetime. She was also talented at knitting and sewing, and collected antiques.

Lilias leaves behind her 3 children, Kenneth Bourque and his wife Persy of Somers, Leanne Mercey, and Todd Bourque, both of Windsor Locks; her grandchildren, Billy Mercey, Christina Hupfer, Sarah Wolf, James Bourque, Nathan Bourque, Michaela Bourque, and Kierra Bourque; 5 great grandchildren; her brother Bob LeBreche and his wife Haydee of AZ, and her beloved partner of 28 years, Walter Kedzior.

Her family will receive relatives and friends from 12-1 pm on Friday January 8, 2021 at the Windsor Locks Funeral Home, 441 Spring St, Windsor Locks. A funeral service will follow the visitation at 1pm. Burial will be private, at the convenience of the family.
