Louis C. Sharp, Jr. 66, of St. Petersburg, FL, formerly of Windsor Locks, was Called Home on Sunday, January 5, 2020. Son of the late Louis and Marion (Miller) Sharp, he was born in Hartford on March 22, 1953. Louis was a long time resident of Windsor Locks. He was employed as a manager at Federal Express for many years. In his free time he enjoyed fishing and watching sports, especially the New York Yankees.
Louis is survived by his son, Louis C. Sharp III of GA ; his sisters, Rosella Sharp of East Hartford, CT, Nona Sharp of Springfield, MA, and Melissa Sharp, also of Springfield, MA; his grandchildren, Jahniece Sharp, and Louis Rizzo; his great grandchildren, Isabella and Gabriella; his aunts, Eleanor Long and Cynthia Baker; his uncles, Craig Miller and Clayton Miller, his dear friend Sally Smith, Katie Adam's and Family. Many nieces, nephews and extended family.
His family will receive relatives and friends on Sunday, January 12, 2020 from 5 - 8 PM and on Monday, January 13, 2020 from 10-11 am at the Windsor Locks Funeral Home, 441 Spring St., Windsor Locks. A service will follow the visitation on Monday at 11 AM. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery, East Granby.
