Matthew W. Austin, 40, of Enfield, passed away on Saturday, May 8, 2021. Born in Hartford, CT on April 26, 1981, he was the son of Patrick Austin and Susan (Leishman) Wilde and grew up in Enfield. Matthew worked as a cook for many years and most recently worked in home construction. Besides his father and mother, he leaves his grandmother, Flo Leishman; his daughter, Nicole Harrison; his 2 grandchildren, Lily and Ronan; his sister, Lynn Veilleux and her husband Michael; and his nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends. He was predeceased by his brother, Michael Austin in 2016. His family will receive friends on Saturday, May 15, from 3-5 PM at Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Rd., Enfield.
