Maureen E. Borski, 79 , of Enfield, died on Thursday, February 9, 2023, one year to the day of her beloved husband John, with her family by her side. She was born May 30, 1943 , in Springfield, MA to Michael and Bridget (Sullivan) Cahill. She attended Cathedral High School in Springfield and graduated from Elms College. She lived in Enfield with her husband since 1966. She was an educator for over 30 years, 25 of them in the Enfield School System. She was a faithful parishioner at St. Patrick Church, was a member of the Enfield Junior Women’s Club and past interim President of the Connecticut Junior Women’s Club. Maureen enjoyed watching the UCONN Basketball teams and spending time with her family. She enjoyed playing bridge and spending time with her lifelong friends, “The Girls”. Maureen is survived by her daughter, Sheila Gregori and her son, Michael Borski and his wife Heidi; her grandchildren, Chase Gregori, Tanner Gregori, Kaitlyn Borski and Ryan Borski. Besides her husband and her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Margaret “Peg” Curtis and her brother John Cahill. Relatives and friends may join the family on Monday, February 13, 2023 from 5 – 7 pm at Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Rd, Enfield. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11:00 am at St. Raymond of Penafort Parish- St. Patrick Church, 64 Pearl St, Enfield, Tuesday, February 14, 2023 (Please meet at church).
