Maureen (Harrington) Ouellette, 73, of Enfield, beloved wife of David M. Ouellette, passed away at her home on Sunday, July 30, 2023. She was born in Northampton, MA on November 28, 1949, the daughter of Dorothy (Ulitsch) Bagge and the late William B. Harrington. Maureen was a graduate of Enfield High School Class of 1967. She went on to pursue a career in the restaurant industry, first as a chef and later as a restaurant manager. Maureen later transitioned to sales in the building products supply industry until her retirement in 2005. She married her husband David in 1994 and the couple enjoyed many trips together over the years.
Besides her husband and her mother, Maureen leaves behind three children, Scott Herron of Treasure Island, FL, Christopher Herron and his wife Trish of Charlotte, NC, and Sean Herron and his wife Kaley of Enfield; her grandchildren, Ashley Bosquet of San Diego, CA, Tori, Julia, and Zack Herron of Charlotte, NC, and Andrew, Alex, and Arabella Herron of Enfield. She is also survived by her sisters, Diane Lee and her husband Bill of Granby, Patricia Usher and her husband Tim of Enfield, and Sheila Harrington of Somers, and many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may join the family for visiting hours from 2 to 4 pm on Sunday, August 6, 2023 at Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Rd, Enfield. A funeral service will be celebrated for Maureen at 11 am on Monday August 7, 2023 at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, 383 Hazard Ave, Enfield. Please meet at the church. Burial will follow in Enfield Street Cemetery.
