Obituary for Michael T. Braun

Michael T. "Mike" Braun, 56, of Enfield, beloved husband of Susan (Hardersen) Braun for 29 years, passed away after a long battle with Polymyositis with Jo-1 antibody Wednesday Sept. 15, 2021 at St. Francis hospital.
Born in Hartford, Feb. 2, 1965, he was the son of the late Joseph and Catherine (Lane) Braun. Raised in Bloomfield, CT, Mike later moved to Enfield where he and Susan raised their family and resided for the past 24 years. He was employed at Pratt and Whitney for the past 15 years as Senior Manager, Military Spares Planning. He was a former Volunteer Firefighter for the Bloomfield Volunteer Fire Dept. Mike enjoyed cars, camping, and spending time with his family who will miss him dearly. In addition to his wife Susan, he is survived by three sons, Joseph Braun and his girlfriend Kate Gallagher of Albany, NY, Thomas and Lee Braun of Enfield, a brother, Patrick Braun and his wife Sandra of Bloomfield, a niece Jennifer Braun and her husband John, his Mother in-law Bette Jane Hardersen, his sister in-law Elizabeth Hardersen, two nephews, Jacob and Nicholas Camacho. Mike was predeceased by a son, Christian Braun.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 21, 2021 at Hazardville United Methodist Church, 330 Hazard Ave., Enfield.
