Obituary for Myrtle J. Judge (King)

Myrtle J. (King) Judge, 85 of Enfield, passed away peacefully at home with her loving
companion of many many years, Roger Thibodeau by her side. She grew up in Belfast, Maine
and moved to Connecticut in the 1950's. She was a strong willed lady who raised her two
children before moving to Enfield in 2012. Myrtle had a love for her cats Patches and Georgie
Boy as well as enjoyed feeding the birds. The thing she enjoyed doing the most was shopping at
thrift stores for the thrill of the hunt to find a treasure. She did not go out often in her later years,
but when she did, she loved to go to the shore and on trips to Vermont and Maine. Most recently
due to her illness, she was home being taken care of by her special caregivers, Emilia and
Elizabeth; the nurses at Atrinity Healthcare, especially Jennifer and the nurses at Trinity
Hospice, especially Kristie, all were nothing short of spectacular.
Left to mourn Myrtle besides her loving companion, Roger Thibodeau, are her children Michael
Judge along with his wife Wendy of Ellington and Donna Judge along with her husband Keith
Margotta of Old Saybrook; grandchildren, Ethan Margotta along with his fiance'; Beyonce
Castillo, Chadwick Judge along with his partner, Matteo Rocco and Emilie Judge; many cousins,
nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents George and Olive (Clark) King;
brothers Steven King, Melvin King, James King, Ancel King, Warren King, George King; sisters
Helen Nickerson, Christina Manning, Lillian Hamilton, Margaret Buzzell.
Per Myrtle's request, there will be no services. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to
Protectors of Animals, 144 Main Street, Unit O, East Hartford, CT 06118, or share a random act
