Obituary for Patricia M. Privitera

Patricia M. Privitera, 76, of Enfield, passed away at home Tuesday, June 9th 2020. Born and raised in Hartford, CT, she was the daughter of the late Salvatore and Florence (Straska) Privitera.
Patricia lived in Enfield since 1971 where she raised her family. She operated Weddings Plus for 30 years creating wonderful cakes and baked creations for her friends and customers. She also enjoyed the beach and going on pilgrimages to Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré Shrine in Quebec, Canada, where she enjoyed spending time with her friends who shared in her devotion to her Catholic faith. She was very active and giving through "Pat's Angels," especially during the holiday season.
She is survived by two sons, James O'Keefe and his wife Jody, Brian O'Keefe and his wife Mary all of Enfield, a granddaughter Katelynn O'Keefe, and the father of her children, Steve O'Keefe of Ellington.
A graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday, June 15, 2020 at Mount Saint Benedict Cemetery in Bloomfield. Due to the current health concerns, the family has decided to hold a Mass in her honor at a future date. Donations in Patricia's memory may be made to the Enfield Loaves and Fishes. So sorry to hear of your mom' s passing. I first met her many years ago at Ste. Anne de Beaupre Shrine, Quebec. She became a very dear friend of mine and I will miss hearing from her. May her soul rest in peace.
