Obituary for Peter John Megazzini Jr.
Peter John “PJ” Megazzini, Jr., 41, of Enfield, CT, passed away at Hartford Hospital on May 13, 2022. Son of Frances Rundo of CT and Peter Megazzini, Sr. of GA, he was born in Springfield, MA. Peter lived most of his life in Feeding Hills, MA and was a graduate of Agawam High School. He was a huge fan of the New York Yankees and the Dallas Cowboys. Peter was very dedicated to his work. He held many positions as a Sales Manager for large trucking industries along the Eastern Coast.
Peter leaves behind his children, Hailie “Beaner” Megazzini and Primo “Bubba” Megazzini of Enfield, and Bella “Bibet” Megazzini of RI. His children were his world and were what kept him going. He also leaves behind the mothers of his children, Jaqi Quinlan of Enfield and Jennifer Phaneuf of RI, his brother Alan, sisters Jennifer & Nikki, and many nieces, nephews, aunts, and an uncle. Peter will be missed by numerous clients, coworkers, and friends. He was taken into God’s hands after complications with a liver transplant. I know he would want to send his utmost appreciation to all the staff throughout Hartford Hospital, especially the transplant team for all of their hard work and compassion.
Peter’s family will receive relatives and friends from 3 to 5 pm on Friday, May 20, 2022 at Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Rd, Enfield, CT. Burial will be private, at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations in Peter’s memory may be made to the liver transplant team at Hartford Hospital.
