Regina Marie (Revit) Pazik, 92, passed away peacefully in her home on May 17, 2022. Daughter of the late Nellie (Zaledonis) and Joseph Revit, Jeanne was born on May 24, 1929 in Wilkes-Barre Township, PA. She graduated from Wilkes-Barre Twp. High School in 1947. Jeanne was married to Joseph J. Pazik, and enjoyed the many places military life took them, especially England. Upon her husband’s retirement from the Air Force in 1964, they settled with their seven children in Enfield, CT. Jeanne worked for Hallmark Cards as an Order Systems Revisions Analyst, retiring in 1992.
Jeanne’s retirement years brought contentment. They were filled with trips to Rhode Island, gardening, watching UConn Women Huskies sports, traveling, and enjoying the little things in everyday life. Jeanne and her dog, Andy, would be seen on daily walks through the neighborhood, stopping to visit and chat with old friends. However, her greatest joy was the time she spent with her family, supporting and cheering on her children and grandchildren throughout life’s events, adventures and milestones, along with ongoing phone calls and quiet visits together. Guided by her Faith, Jeanne was a hardworking, devoted and independent woman, whose kind and gentle way of living served as an example for her children, grandchildren, and the many relatives and friends who knew and loved her.
Jeanne’s memory will forever be treasured in the hearts and lives of her children, Robert and Nancy Pazik (Carbondale, CO), Thomas and Leanne Pazik (Greeley, CO), Jeanne Hoffmann (West Granby, CT), LeeAnn and Michael Littlejohn (Enfield, CT), Leonard Pazik (Encinitas, CA), and son-in-law Eugene Zordan (Burlington, CT), sisters Marion Kaminski (Bethlehem, PA), Leonore (William) Kcenich (Camp Hill, PA), brother Edward Revit (Gouldsboro, PA), sister-in-law Bernice Revit (Wilkes-Barre, PA), as well as many nephews, nieces and cousins. Grandma will be sadly missed by her loving grandchildren Meagan (Ryan) Velgersdyk, Stephen (Kaitlyn) and Kevin Hoffmann, Kathryn and Erin Littlejohn, Laura Kinde and Alicia Huckaby. Jeanne took delight in being an adoring G.G. during her visits and facetime calls with great-grandchildren Jack, Grace and Will. Jeanne was predeceased by her husband Joseph J. Pazik, son Joseph J. Pazik Jr., daughter Marion Pazik Zordan, son-in-law Christopher Hoffmann, grandson Timothy Littlejohn, brother Joseph Revit, brother-in-law Bernard Kaminski and sister-in-law Dolores Revit.
Jeanne’s family would like to thank her team of caregivers and hospice nurses who provided compassionate care during the past months, helping to allow her to remain in her home, especially Deana, Mandy, Hermine, Robin and Erin.
Jeanne’s family will gather to remember, honor and celebrate her on her 93rd birthday, Tuesday, May 24, from 9:30 - 11:30 at Leete-Stevens Funeral Home 61 South Road, Enfield. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at Holy Family Church on Simon Road, Enfield at 12:00. Burial will follow Mass in St. Patrick’s King Street Cemetery.
