Obituary for Richard Wilks
Richard Wilks, 65, of Orlando, FL, formerly of Enfield, beloved husband of Linda (Paklos) Wilks, entered into eternal peace on Saturday, August 29, 2020. Richard, the son of the late Irving and Muriel (Fenner) Wilks. He enjoyed many things including spending time with his children and grandchildren, taking day trips on his motorcycle with his wife, being outdoors and on the water, photography, tinkering in his garage, yardwork, and loved listening to loud music while having an occasional cigar during happy hour.
In addition to the love of his life Lynn, whom they shared 44 years of marriage, Richard is survived by his children; Kelly Schultz and her husband Joe Schultz of FL, and Vicky Ledebur and her husband Brian Ledebur of FL. He will also be missed by his grandchildren, Lilee, Joseph (JJ), Shelby, and Weston; and his brother, William M. Wilks and his wife Joyce of Southampton, MA,. He was also predeceased by his brother Henry Cook formerly of Newington, CT.
He will be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather, a man who was a true gentleman with a kind heart.
