Obituary for Ronald S. Kamay

Ronald S. Kamay, 68, of Enfield, beloved husband of Kimberly (Morrison) Kamay, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, May 29, 2021. Born in Springfield, MA on September 27, 1952, he was the son of Caroline (Bielonko) Kamay of Enfield and the late Stanley E. Kamay. Ron grew up in Enfield and was a lifelong resident in town. He attended UCONN and graduated from Springfield Technical Community College. Ron worked as an Instrument Technician for most of his career, most recently for Capital District Energy Center Cogeneration Associates in Hartford. Ron was very active. He loved to play basketball and golf; he was an avid Yankees, Celtics, NY Giants and UCONN fan. Ron spent many years coaching women's softball here in town. His greatest love beyond anything was for his family, especially his wife of 17 years, Kim, and his 2 children, his pride and joy, Kyle and Kaitlyn. Besides his wife, children, and mother, he leaves 2 sisters, Kathy Rothschild and her husband David of Longmeadow, and Diane Peters and her husband Russell of Enfield; his 2 dogs Abbi and Bailey; as well as three brother in laws Ed (Karen) Morrison of Simsbury, CT; Tom (Pam) Morrison of Stafford, VA and Scott (Kim) Morrison of Avon, CT; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Ron's family will receive friends on Saturday, June 5, from 11 AM - 1 PM at Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Rd. Enfield, with a Service taking place at 1 PM at the funeral home.
