Obituary for Sheila Walker (Jackson)
Sheila (Jackson) Walker, 62, of Windsor Locks, beloved wife of Gary P. Walker, passed away at home on Tuesday, February 9, 2021 surrounded by her family. She was born in Hartford on November 13, 1958, the daughter of Frances (Biardi) and the late Joe Billy Jackson. Sheila was employed as a service consultant at The Hartford and Mass Mutual Insurance companies. In her spare time she enjoyed gardening, cooking, and spending time with her family in the home they shared for nearly 40 years in Suffield, CT.
In addition to her husband, Sheila is survived by her children, Jeff Walker and his wife Nicole, Greg Walker and his wife Beth, Brittany Habel and her husband Joel, and Courtney Walker, all of Windsor Locks; her grandchildren, Aidan, Holly, Olivia, Marley, Sadie, Harper, and Sawyer; her brothers, David Jackson and his wife Pamela of Southwick, MA, and Kevin Jackson and his wife Linda of Canton; her sister, Lynn Breiner and her husband Walter of Granby, many nieces and nephews, and her beloved dog ZuZu. She was predeceased by her brother Jon Jackson.
Services will be private, at the convenience of the family. Windsor Locks Funeral Home has care of the arrangements. To honor Sheila's memory, please plant something green in the spring.
