Obituary for Stanley Francis Such

Stanley Francis Such, 90, of Enfield, beloved husband of 57 years to the late Bernice Mary (Maylott) Such, entered into eternal rest on May 30, 2021 at Suffield House. A lifetime resident of Enfield, Stanley was born on September 13, 1930 to the late John and Katherine (Kogut) Such. Stanley grew up on the family farm which was the focal point of his family life. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. Stanley began his career at Bigelow Sanford in Enfield, and later worked at Hamilton Standard for over 30 years until his retirement. In his free time he and his wife Bernice enjoyed travel together, including trips to Europe and Hawaii. He also enjoyed time at the beach and later in life was an active member of the Enfield Senior Center. Stanley was a member of American Legion Post 154.

Stanley is survived by his children, Steven Such and his wife Debora, Ken Such and his wife, Holly, Tom Such and his wife, Kathleen, and Donald Such; his grandchildren, John, Christopher, Daniel, Stephanie, Sara, Felicia, Sarina, and Karissa; and his great grandchildren, Kyle, Connor, Logan, Ryan, Aiden, Isabella, Trevor, Darren, Bohdi, and Rocco. In addition to his wife Bernice, he was predeceased by his brothers, Francis, Fred, and Edward, and his sister Veronica

Stanley’s family will receive relatives and friends from 5 to 7 pm on Thursday, June 3, 2021, at Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels 61 South Rd, Enfield. A procession will gather at 9 am at the funeral home on Friday June 4, 2021 for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10 am at St. Adalbert Church, 90 Alden Ave, Enfield. Burial with military honors will follow in Hazardville Cemetery.
