Obituary for Stephen M Adamczyk

Stephen M. Adamczyk, 63, of Enfield, entered into Eternal Rest on Sunday, February 16, 2020 after battling a long illness. Born November 30, 1956 in Springfield, MA, he was the son of the late Maximillian and Wanda (Dziel). Stephen was born and raised in Chicopee, MA. He was employed as a sales manager and corporate recruiter. An avid Yankee fan, his fondest memory was being at Yankee Stadium for the Game 6 World Series win when the Core Four reigned. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, College hoop and sharing jokes with all who would listen!
Stephen is survived by his daughter, Stephanie Bednarz and her husband John of Enfield; his wife of 34 years, Debra (Heroux) Adamczyk; and his cherished grandchildren, Jack and Max. He leaves his big brother, Lawrence Adamczyk and his wife Denise of Belchertown, MA; his sisters, Debra Allard of Chicopee, MA and Maxine Lang and her husband Raymond of North Attleboro, MA. He dearly loved his nieces and nephews, Sean and Christopher Allard, Lauren Chenel and Brian Adamczyk, and Daniel, David, Jacob, and Jared Lang, and his godmother, Arlene Ciejka and his uncle Chet Dziel.
His family will receive relatives and friends on Sunday, February 23, 2020 from 1 to 3 pm at Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Rd, Enfield. A memorial service will follow the visitation at 3pm. Burial will be private, at the convenience of the family. Donations in Stephen’s memory may be made to Blue Sky Rehabilitation Center, Attn: Susie O'Neil, 52 Federal Rd, Suite 2A, Danbury, CT 06810.
