Obituary for Stephen G. Piescik Jr.
Stephen G. Piescik, 82, of Enfield, passed away Sunday, June 5th, 2022. Stephen was the beloved husband of the late Irene M. (Saternis) Piescik. They were married for 61 years. He joined her in eternal peace only thirteen days after her passing.
Born in Manchester, CT on June 17th, 1939, he was the son of the late Stephen G. Piescik, Sr. and Sophie (Blotnisky) Piescik and grew up in Rockville before moving to Enfield in 1971. Steve retired from the US Postal Service after 35 years of service. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a life member of the Manchester Coon and Fox Club.
He leaves behind three sons, Stephen Piescik and his wife Marlene of Somers, Robert “Bob” Piescik of New Hampshire, and Michael Piescik of Las Vegas, Nevada; three grandsons, Stephen, Seth and Zachary Piescik; his sister, Patricia Burnham; his brother-in-law, Ronald Saternis and his wife Maureen; his sister-in-law, Lila Saternis; and several nieces and nephews.
