Steven E. “Steve” Nedjoika, 58, of Enfield, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, January 24, 2023. He was born in Hartford on September 18, 1964, the beloved son of Marilyn “Mickey” (Putnam) Nedjoika and the late Edward Nedjoika. Steve worked as a meat cutter for Scitico Market for many years and later worked as a crossing guard for the town of Enfield. Outside of work he enjoyed hunting and fishing with friends. He was a lifetime resident of Enfield and a longtime friend of Bill W.
In addition to his mother, Steve is survived by his daughter, Elizabeth Green and her husband Cameron of HI, his grandson, Easton Green, his brother, Jeffrey Nedjoika and his wife Gaylene of CO; his niece, Emma Nedjoika; his nephew, Victor Nedjoika; his aunt, Sandy Putnam of FL; many cousins, and his beloved canine companion, Cooper.
Steve’s family will receive relatives and friends from 4 to 6 pm on Monday, January 30, 2023 at Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Rd, Enfield. A procession will gather at 10 am at the funeral home on Tuesday, January 31, 2023 for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 11 am at St Bernard Church, 426 Hazard Ave., Enfield.
