Obituary for Theodore G Lord Jr.
Theodore ‘Ted’ G. Lord, Jr, of Enfield, beloved husband of Pamela (Burns) Lord, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, January 31, 2023 at Hartford Hospital. He was born in Hartford on December 16, 1942, the son of the late Alberta (Hinkley) and Theodore G. Lord, Sr. Ted honorably served his country in the United States Navy aboard the USS Cassagrande during the Vietnam War. He was employed in Systems Operations; KAPL Windsor Site for 28 years. Ted also served his community as a former member of the East Windsor Volunteer Fire Dept, EMT IV Tech, East Windsor Ambulance Association, the Enfield Marine Police, and Cross Road Riders of Connecticut. Most of all, he will be remembered as a devoted husband and loving father and grandfather.
In addition to his beloved wife Pamela, Ted is survived by his children, John Lord and his significant other, Suzanne Bender of CA, and Patty Ann Lord and her significant other Bruce Wilson of MA; his grandchildren, Brook Ann Lord and Enzo Barbieri, and his sister Betsy Brogioliand and her husband Paul of MA. He was predeceased by his brother James Wesley Lord and his sister, Priscilla Penland.
Ted’s family will receive relatives and friends from 5 to 7 pm on Monday February 6, 2023 at Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Rd, Enfield. A funeral service will be celebrated at 11 am on Tuesday, February 7, 2023 at Second Baptist Church, 100 North Main, St Suffield, CT 06078. Burial will follow in Springdale Cemetery, East Windsor.
