Victoria “Vicki” (Mielnikiewicz) Bungard, 78, of Enfield, beloved wife of 57 years to Rodney H. Bungard,Sr., peacefully passed away on Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at Parkway Pavillion. She was born in Springfield, MA on November 7, 1942, daughter of the late Francis and Victoria (Stowinski) Mielnikiewicz. Vicki was employed as a secretary for Combustion Engineering, and later at the Windsor Board of Education, and the Enfield Board of Education until her retirement. She was a past member of the Joy Singers, the Polish Junior League, and the East Windsor Garden Club. Vicki was an avid gardener, and had a talented and creative hand for all types of crafts.

In addition to her husband Rodney, Vicki is survived by her children, Rodney H. Burgard, Jr. and his wife Tammy, and Erica Leahy and her husband Stephen, all of Enfield; and her grandchildren, Victoria and Bridget Leahy, and Matthew and Stephanie Bungard. She was predeceased by her sister, Elizabeth Lamb.

Vicki’s family will receive relatives and friends from 5-7 pm on Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Rd, Enfield. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 am on Thursrday, June 3, 2021 at St Bernard Church, 426 Hazard Ave, Enfield. Please meet directly at the church.
