Esther C. "Polly"  Perry (Gaudette)
Esther C. “Polly” (Gaudette) Perry, 94, of Windsor Locks wife of the late Jeffrey B. Perry entered into Eternal Rest on Sunday, March 18, 2018, at St. Francis Hospital. Esther was born March 1, 1924, in Hartford, CT the daughter of the late Andrew J. and Mary (Brunell) Gaudette. Esther a native of Windsor Locks attended St. Mary’s School and was a graduate of Windsor Locks High School. Esther was employed with S.N.E.T for 36 years as a Telephone Operator. Esther was a parishioner of St. Mary Church, life member of the Pioneers of America, and a former member of the Civil Defense. She enjoyed traveling, knitting, crocheting, and reading. She is survived by her son, John R. Gokey of East Hartford; three step-sons, Ernest Perry and his wife, Nancy of Vernon, George Perry, and his wife, Sandra of Granby, and Jeffrey Perry, Jr. and his wife, Annette of West Suffield; her grandchildren, Catherine Presutti, Cynthia and Jason Gokey Erin, Elizabeth, Amanda, Jeffrey, III, Ryan (Danielle), and Christopher (Morgan) Perry; her great-grandchildren, Cody, Maddox, and Conrad and several nieces and nephews. Esther was predeceased by three siblings, Bruce and Andrew Gaudette, and Anna Fortin and a step-son, David Perry. Esther’s family would like to thank the Doctors and nurses at St. Francis’ 5-1 Cardiac Unit and the nurses and staff at the Suffield House for all their wonderful and compassionate care. Relatives and friends are welcome to join the family during visiting hours on Thursday, March 22, 2018, from 4 pm to 7 pm at the Windsor Locks Funeral Home, 441 Spring St., Windsor Locks. A funeral procession will gather on Friday, March 23, 2018, at 9 am at the funeral home for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10 am at St. Mary Church. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Memorial contributions in memory of Esther may be made to Mary, Gate of Heaven Parish, 42 Spring St., Windsor Locks.
