Gertrude Ruth Conlon, 98, of Enfield, passed away on Monday, March 13, 2023 at Evergreen Health Care. Born in Limestone, Maine, on June 4, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Renaud and Josephine (Pelletier) Beaulieu and grew up in Maine before moving to Enfield in 1938. She worked for Dynamic Control in South Windsor until her retirement in 1987. She was a communicant of St. Bernard's Church. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Joseph F. Conlon in 1997 and her sister, Marie Wieliczka. She is survived by 3 children, Joseph F. Conlon, Jr., James N. Conlon, and Sheila Desmarais; 3 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and 8 great-great-grandchildren. Her family will receive friends on Thursday, March 16, from 10-11 AM at Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Rd., Enfield, with a Funeral Home Service taking place at 11 AM.
