Paul Michael Oliver, 29, of Enfield, died unexpectedly on Sunday, December 16, 2007. Paul was born in Hartford on August 2, 1978 and has lived in Enfield since 1994. He was a member of Sufficient Grace Church in Ellington. He was employed by Lia Honda of Enfield as a Finance Manager. Paul was an avid sports fan and a devoted Red Sox and Patriots Fan. He enjoyed life to the fullest. Paul was dedicated to his family and friends, and would lend a hand to anyone in need. His humor, generosity and charm touched many and he will be missed by all. He is survived by the love of his life, Melissa. They were a couple since the summer of 2000 and were about to celebrate their second wedding anniversary on December 30, 2007. Paul is also survived by his mother Merry E. Oliver of Enfield; his father, Paul Almeida and his wife Dana of Richmond, VA; his sisters, Candise M. Oliver of Vernon, Melanie C. Oliver of Enfield and Kyra Almeida of Richmond, VA; his special sisters, Lisi Robles of Houston, TX, Melissa Cruz of Enfield and Ivelisse Cruz of Enfield; his grandparents David and Eleanor Oliver of South Windsor; his mother-in-law, Sandra Elliott; his sister-in-law, Jennifer Elliott Manca and her husband Christopher, two brother-in-laws, David and Michael Elliott; two nephews, Nathaniel Withee and Ajiah Eason; his niece, Narianna Eason; many aunts, uncles, including Peter Crichton who was his best man, cousins and many dear friends, including his second family at Lia Honda of Enfield. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Catherine Ranney and his father-in-law, David Elliott, Sr. Family and friends may attend a celebration of Paul's life on Friday, December 21, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, followed by burial in Enfield Street Cemetery. His family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday, December 20, 2007 from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m at Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Road.
