Obituary for Patricia "Pat" Gail Brunson
Patricia G. Brunson, age 77 of Enfield, died unexpectedly at her home, entering into eternal life on Monday, April 28, 2014 her loving husband of 43 years, William Brunson, was at her side. Born in Hartford on March 27, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Nellie (Szyszka) Bonitz. Patricia lived in Enfield for 31 years and retired from Kimberly Hall south as an LPN after many years.
Besides the time spent with her adoring family, Patricia enjoyed crossword puzzles, traveling, playing solitaire, cooking and spending time in her garden. As a former member of the Buckley High School choir in Hartford, it was known that she also loved to sing. Patricia will be remembered by her loving husband and five children, Terry Kinsley of Broad Brook, Peggy Raymond of Broad Brook, Charles Brunson and his wife, Diane of Monument, CO, Cathy Keefe of Enfield and Julie Nicholson of Nottingham, NH; 10 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. She was an animal lover and will be missed greatly by her furry friends; her dog, Bella and her cat, Diva
Her family will receive relatives and friends at the funeral home from 4-7 p.m. on Thursday, May 1st. A funeral service for Patricia will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, May 2nd at Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Rd. Burial will follow in St. Adalbert Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial remembrances in Patricia’s name may be made to Hartford Hospital, Fund Development Office, P.O. Box 5037, Hartford, CT 06102-5037.
