Mary Jane (Brazalovich) Ratti, 83, of Enfield, CT loving wife of the late Ugo Ratti entered into Eternal Rest on Sunday, July 12, 2015, at Evergreen Health Care in Stafford. Mary was born October 1, 1931, in Hartford, CT the daughter of the late Harry and Mary (Pawlowski) Brazalovich. Mary was employed with Geissler’s Supermarket in East Windsor as the Kitchen Manager for many years. She was an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox and the New York Giants and enjoyed her many bus trips with her dear friend Doris Brown. Mary loved her family very much and cooking for them during the holidays brought her great joy. She will be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Mary is survived by three sons, Michael Ratti and his wife, Karen of Stafford, CT, Jay Ratti of Rhode Island and Thomas Ratti of Enfield with whom she made her home. Mary is also survived by her beloved grandchildren, Kimberly, Michael and Daniella Ratti and Natalie Morganson; two brothers, Richard Brazalovich and his wife, Kathleen of East Hartford, CT and Walter Brazalovich of South Windsor; Melissa Morganson, Laurie Taylor, Nanci Mealey and Sheri Devaux who were like a daughter to Mary. She is also survived a sister-in-law, Mary Ann Brazalovich; a brother-in-law, John Mancini and many nieces, nephews and close friends. Mary was predeceased by a son, Mark Ratti; three brothers, Edward,Harold and Matthew Brazalovich and a sister, Patricia Perkins. Mary was also predeceased by two brothers-in-law and their spouses, Romano Ratti, Joseph Ratti and wife, Lucy; sisters-in-law and their spouses, Rose Kostiak and husband, Ed, Marie Mancini and Arlene Ratti. Relatives and friends are welcome to join the family on Wednesday, July 15, 2015, from 5 pm to 8 pm at the Windsor Locks Funeral Home, 441 Spring St., Windsor Locks. A Mass of Christian Burial for Mary will be celebrated on Thursday, July 16, 2015, at 10 am at Holy Family Church, 23 Simon Rd., Enfield, CT. (Please meet at the church). Burial will follow in Mount St. Benedict Cemetery in Bloomfield. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Evergreen Health Care, 205 Chestnut Hill Rd., Stafford, CT 06076.
