Joseph “Joe” C. Ferrato, 68, of Windsor Locks, beloved husband of Linda (Cunningham) Ferrato of 38 years entered into eternal rest Thursday Aug. 6, 2009 at St. Francis Hospital with his family by his side. Joe was born in Hartford Dec. 26, 1940, son of the late Joseph and Jeanette (Majewski) Ferrato and was a former resident of Enfield moving to Windsor Locks in 1976. He was formerly employed by National Car Rental for 20 years and later for Advanced Auto and Enviro Test before retiring. Joe enjoyed antique cars and cruising. Besides his wife Linda, Joe is survived by his two loving sons, Scott Ferrato and his wife Lisa and John Ferrato, his cherished grandchildren Jake and Samantha all of Enfield and his siblings, Charles and Beverly. A service of rememberance will be held Tuesday, Aug. 11, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. at the Windsor Locks Funeral Home, 441 Spring Street, Windsor Locks. His family will receive relatives and friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 5-7 p.m. Memorial donations in Joe’s memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 538 Preston Ave., Meriden, CT 06450.
