Donald H. Lemery, Sr., 86, a longtime resident of Enfield, entered into his eternal rest on Monday, April 18, 2011 at the Hebrew Home & Hospital in West Hartford. Born on September 12, 1924 in Putnam, Don was the son of the late Honora and Delia (Vanasse) Lemery. Prior to his retirement, he was employed as a truck driver for North Penn Transfer. In his leisure time, Don enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing and bowling. He was a member of the Rockville Fish & Game Club, the NRA and the Enfield Senior Center, where he was Captain of the Pool Team. He is survived by his daughters, Cheryl Bocwinski and her husband, Leo Jr., and Michele Young and her fiance, Robert Cleveland; all of Enfield; his sister, Lorraine Lemieux of Enfield, his daughter-in-law, Lisa (D’Aleo) Lemery; his fifteen grandchildren, and five great grandchildren with another great grandson to arrive in September. Don was predeceased by his former wife, Gloria (Taschereau) Lemery, his sons, Donald H. Lemery, Jr., and Mark A. Lemery; and three of his siblings. Calling hours for Don will be held on Friday evening, April 22, 2011 at the Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Road, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels on Saturday morning, April 23, 2011 at 9:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Mt.
