My friend....

There are no words to describe the depth of my feelings for Carol and George...We met our freshman year at Westfield State. Carol and I were roommates for the next 3 years. They were there through the most devasting experience of my life when my sister died at age 16 ...Carol and George were there...Carol and I waitressed summers at Valle's Steak House... after a hard weekend, we would head to Brown's at Seabrook beach...we all had our jobs...I would order the steamers, Carol ordered the lobsters...George was tasked with heading to O'Keefe"s for the beer...then we all headed to the beach to enjoy our feast! Some of my best memories of my life involve Carol and George.... My heart hurts that he has been taken from such a wonderful family! I will always remember his smile, laugh and mischievous twinkle in his eye! My daughter,Amy, remembers that she and Alyson thought it was hilarious when he read them Georgie the Ghost one visit to West Newbury! She loved that someone named George read them Georgie the Ghost! She was probably 5 then...she is 38 now...We never know the imprint we make on a person's life. I am sure George had NO idea the impression he made that day on my preschool daughters! I didn't even know he did that! The GIFT that was George! Rest easy, my friend! I loved you and you made life better for anyone who knew you....til we meet again...
