Amazing Grace
Many years ago, when I was 18 years old, I attended UCONN from NY and met an amazing friend on my floor
In my dorm named, Charlene Good. Charlene.be America a dear friend, mentor in Pharmacy School
for me and eventually a Bridesmaid at my wedding 29 years ago. I had the pleasure of meeting her
Mom, 'Margie' during our times in college but it was really the time that this out of state young girl was
treated to the Amazing Generosity of "Charlene's" mom during the Preparation and Fun surrounding
Charlene's Wedding to Jeff. As a Bridesmaid at their wedding, living three hours away was a mystery
as "Margie" made me feel more than an attendant at the wedding of her only daughter and my dear friend,
She extended the amZing woman that she is to every soul she touched and took me into her house ,
making me feel as though I had been part of her inner circle and a family member from day one.
She went above and beyond as I had always experienced with her at each and every visit I was fortunate
enough to encounter with her!!!! It was clear to me that the integrity and grace that I always shared with
Charlene has been channeling from her mom as in the saying, "The Apple doesn't Fall From the Tree",
Well, The tree of "Margie's" Life will certainly live long beyond this world, bear fruit of live and cast
That same long and fun loving shadow and glow upon us all for years to come and beyond.
Her life touched many, I know......but for me, since I was a young adult growing up through those early
Tomes in life, she was a Saint to me and my mom away from her always taking me under her
watchful eye with a clever, witty and respectful story to share and a loving hand to hold!
I am fortunate to have known the wonders of "Margie" in my life, personally and through my enduring
Friendship of 35 years with her daughter, Charlene, who like her mother remains a faithful and loving friend
Who even flew into town from Denver, CO to attend my 45th birthday Party in January during a snowstorm.
AND When the party had to be rescheduled for May due to the weather in January from the storm,
Charlene flew in AGAIN in May and was by my side to Celebrate a Special Day with me. Always telling
Me each time, "My Mom Sends her Love".
Well, the Circle of Love & Life lives on through "Margie" always, not only through Charlene and the rest
of her Family but through our own memories that are held deep in my heart and the heart's of all the
Lives she touched!!! With Love, Debbie
